Endless walks are on your doorstep, and the Bissoe Bike Trail is moments away where you can cycle from the south coast to the north coast past the regions many tin and copper mines seeing plenty of wildlife along the way.

Falmouth: 5 miles away is one of Cornwall's most popular towns, immersed in maritime history. It hosts the multi-award winning National Maritime Museum, a mighty castle, a good food scene, lots of lovely art, award winning beaches and the deepest natural harbour in the world. Falmouth is probably the best place in Cornwall to hop on a boat with a range of options to explore a spot of fishing or the picturesque Restronguet creek.

Truro: Cornwall's capital city is also 5 miles away, with the beautiful cathedral as its backdrop it has everything you need in the way of shops and places to eat and explore. Markets and events, whatever the time of year there will be something to enjoy in Truro.

But Cornwall's mild coastal climate mean it's home to some of the best of the nations gardens and you will be spoilt for choice, whether it's some sculpture at Barbara Hepworth's Museum and Sculpture Garden, the maze at Glendurgan, the sub tropical Island of St Michael's Mount or the iconic biomes of Eden.

Beaching: Whatever the season, our beaches are a joy. 330 miles of unspoilt coastline there is something for everyone. Whether you want to walk the coastal path, surf the waves, try your hand at coasteering, sailing, paddleboarding, or sea kayaking or simply build sandcastles and go rock-pooling we can recommend a tonne of beaches moments from the house.

Eating: For meals with view The Pandora Inn just a short drive away. On the edge of Restronguet Creek enjoy a drink or a meal watching the boats and perhaps doing a spot of crabbing in this magical setting. But for beachside restaurants with stellar views and excellent food we also recommend The Ferry Boat InnHooked on the Rocks and The Hidden Hut

We are 30 minutes from Eden Project and about the same from Tate at St Ives, or indeed St Michael's Mount. The attractions within 30 mins of the house are pretty endless like the beaches.

Sport and adventure: Horse riding, paintballing, golf, inflatable aqua assault course ... it's all within reach. The Bissoe Bike Trail is adjacent to the house and you can cycle 22km from North to South coast along it.
